Wararka24 is committed to accurate, fair and independent journalism. This policy explains the standards our newsroom follows and what readers can expect from us.
Accuracy and verification
- We base every story on reliable sources: official statements, public officials, eyewitnesses and established news organizations.
- Where possible, we confirm important facts with more than one independent source before publishing.
- When we report information of public interest that has not yet been independently confirmed, we say so clearly in the story.
- We attribute claims to the person or organization that made them.
Fairness and independence
Wararka24 does not support any political party, government, administration or group. When a story involves competing sides, we aim to present the main points of view and give people facing serious allegations a fair chance to respond.
Sources and attribution
We credit other news organizations when we use their reporting. We respect requests for anonymity from sources when there is a good reason, such as a risk to their safety, and we protect their identity.
News, opinion and advertising
Our news reports do not include the writer’s personal opinion. Opinion and analysis pieces are clearly labelled. Sponsored content and advertising are always marked and are never presented as news.
Images and video
We use images and video that are relevant to the story and credit their source where required. We avoid publishing unnecessarily graphic images and we respect the dignity of victims and their families.
Use of technology and AI
Our journalists may use digital tools, including AI-assisted writing and translation tools, to help with research, drafting and editing. These tools never replace editorial judgment. Every story is checked, edited and approved by a Wararka24 editor before publication, and our editors remain fully responsible for its accuracy.
Corrections
If we make an error, we correct it promptly. Where the correction is significant, we add a note to the story explaining what was changed. To report an error, email info@wararka24.com with the link to the story and a short description of the problem.
